WAYS TO GIVE
Your Contributions Matter
Your generous donations keep our mission alive! Sky’s The Limit Observatory & Nature Center is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, all-volunteer organization. We are dependent on the generous donations of our investors and donors to grow our organization and continue to provide free and low-cost night sky and nature programs. All donations are a tax deduction to EIN 81-4312310.
In 2005, Sky’s The Limit Observatory & Nature Center (STL) started with an initial group of about 40 eager people who chose to contribute to the mission of this organization in its infancy. These historic supporters became
Galaxy 72 Investors, providing financial commitments for 72 months at a given monthly amount. Most of them promised $10 a month, some of them more.
Since then, Galaxy 72 Investors have grown in number to 62. Many of the original investors have completed their initial commitment and have renewed for another 72 months becoming "Super Novas!"
It is their consistent support over the decades that has provided a steady income to allow slow and careful development of the STL campus and make possible the purchase of an additional 5 acres of land. Additionally, investors have supported the construction of the observatory dome, concrete paths with pads for telescopes, and permanent restrooms. With that infostructure now in place, the educational programs can really take off! Join us by becoming a "Galaxy 72 Investor" and let’s keep the momentum going.
