A Full Moon Literary Gathering in the Mojave Desert

Poetry & Prose Under the Blue MoonJoin us for a special evening of literature, poetry, art, and cosmic reflection beneath the rising full moon in the Mojave Desert.

Presented as part of Sky’s The Limit Observatory & Nature Center’s Full Moon Cultural Program, this immersive outdoor event will feature contributors to P.O. Box Outer Space, the acclaimed zine series co-edited by novelist Jardine Libaire and filmmaker/writer Jennifer Prediger, with book design by Beth Middleworth.

Described as a collection of “open letters to the beyond,” P.O. Box Outer Space brings together writers and artists exploring cosmic, existential, and deeply personal themes through fiction, poetry, visual art, and experimental storytelling.

The evening will include live readings and conversations under the desert sky as guests watch the full moon rise in the east behind the stage. Jardine Libaire is the author of the novels White Fur, Here Kitty Kitty, and You’re an Animal, celebrated for their emotional intensity, lyricism, and exploration of contemporary American life.
