Calling on Volunteers!
Sky's The Limit Observatory & Nature Center is a non-profit, all-volunteer organization. Without our volunteers we could not offer the low-cost and free astronomy and nature programs we offer as a part of our mission statement.
If you have time and are eager to be a part of the team, please complete the form to the left.
While completing the form to the left, you will be referenced to the following additional details:
- Saturday 10am to 2pm duties include greet visitors, give campus overview, describe Orrery, and/or monitor solar scope.
- Nighttime Programs duties include greet visitors, assist with parking & navigation, and/or point out constellations.
- Training in telescopes is a long-term commitment.
- Docent/Assist with Educational Programs & School Field Trips: please add in form comments the fields you are experienced in.
- Welcome Center Host/Hostess duties include greet visitors, dust, arrange items, and sell souvenirs.
- Office/Clerical: please add in comments your areas of experience including computer skills, social media, and/or press releases.
- Event Planning & Management: please add in comments your areas of interest including traffic/parking control, registration table, guide/information/direction, workshops or informational programs.
- Outdoor Campus Maintenance duties include water plants on Nature Trail, rake Orrery & Medication Garden, and pick up trash.
- Ongoing Landscape Work duties include working on rock & gravel areas and wheelchair accessible Nature Trail.
- Tech Support: please add in comments your areas of expertise you would be interested in provided if needed including PV system install/set up & support, carpentry, electrical, plumbing or other.
